Pilot blamed for Taiwan case fired by employers
A pilot from New Zealand, blamed for inflicting Taiwan’s
first home Covid transmission case in months, has been fired by his employers
Eva Air.
A contact of the person examined constructive on Tuesday, ending
Taiwan’s 253-day streak with out a native case.
The pilot is assumed to have contacted the virus earlier
this month however was asymptomatic.
Pilots returning to Taiwan after a flight should quarantine
for 3 days.
Eva Air stated he was fired for violating operational ideas,
