Extra work has been awarded on the £1bn Stratford Waterfront growth in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Danish facade specialist HS Hansen has received a £10m job to put in home windows on the College of the Arts London’s new London Faculty of Style constructing, which is already underneath building.
The agency will design, manufacture and set up aluminium home windows, spandrel panels, doorways, screens and glazed skylights on ranges 4 to 14 of the Allies and Morrison-designed constructing.
It’s the newest package deal of labor to be handed out on the scheme, after Belfast agency Portview received a £24m fit-out contract for the constructing final October.
The constructing’s structural body, cores and roof works are being carried out by Laing O’Rourke subsidiary Expanded.
UAL’s present London Faculty of Style website is at John Prince’s Road simply off Oxford Road and can transfer into its new Stratford premises as soon as it’s accomplished in 2022.
